What is it?

Founded by the Black Greeks of the CSU, Long Beach State University chapter of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, the Long Beach Step Show has become, over the years, the longest running, largest and most popular Step Show in the West. As usual the Step Show will have a national flavor with Step teams traveling from all over the United States in hopes of being crowned Champions of the West.

Mission:

A portion of the proceeds will go to supporting scholarships for students at CSULB. Proceeds also go to funding leadership training and community service projects.

Who Can Go?

Anyone! (read: Anyone with common sense and ack-rite)

When is it?

March 20th, 2010 – 12pm

Yay…

On April 20, 2001, 4 young women crossed the burning sands into Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. via THE ELITE Theta Epsilon Chapter at Univ. of Southern California.

Collectively, they are known as Ari, “the will to succeed.”

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 7 years…I love you guys…we’re officially Old School!

It was great to spend time with folks last night at Grand Lux Cafe…even though there were some folks that were greatly missed. :(

I hope that we can all get together soon. *sigh*

We trekked out early this morning to hit Mt. High, but not early enough. By the time we got there, they were turning folks around from the mountain because it was already packed. So Incog pulled a U-Turn from the long line of cars in front and behind us, and we parked on the side of the road like many other families to play in the snow instead.

That was good enough for us…

Christal wanted to make a snow poodle… *giggle*

I couldn’t resist.

I mean dang…our colors ARE royal blue and gold.

Incog thought it would be funny to hit us with a snowball while we were taking a picture. Christal thought it was funny too. But maybe that was because they didn’t have snow up their nose or in their mouth. Cold.Blooded.

Boys will always be boys…*sigh*

We reserved time for normalcy….

And then got back to the craziness…

All in all…it was cool being out in the snow and being able to have a little fun…
